First notes on the artist's performance in the province of São Paulo during the eight hundred

Abstract

As a constitutive part of our master’s research entitled “My office is Architecture: the Performance of Architect, Decorator and Carver Miguel Dutra (Itu - SP, 1812 - Piracicaba, 1875) during the eight hundred”. It is intended to present a snippet of our work that, through a preliminary survey of the works and respective elaboration of an inventory, allows us to demonstrate how much its production was strongly guided by the execution of works in the field of sacred art.
