Abstract

was fundamental, having worked in the teams responsible for several famous projects. The artist worked with a very organic and evolutionary language, analogous to artistic vanguards, such as abstract art, concretism and constructivism.
The same transferred the principles of painting to the composition of the gardens: the floor plans of his projects resemble abstractionist canvases, in which the spaces created favor the formation of nooks and paths through the elements of
native vegetation. Upon reaching this point, we consider that Burle Marx did not surround himself with his collections - with emphasis on the sacred art analyzed - only for delight and ornamentation, but for plastic reasons that involved the
stimuli from these objects in his perception, motivating his genius. to produce works in different forms of expression.
