TWELVE SAINTS OF THIRD ORDER OF CARMEL, RECIFE, PERNAMBUCO

Abstract

This report pretends discuss about the origins and identification of a group of Saints of church of Third Order of Carmel, in the city of Recife, state of Pernambuco, Brazil. The main question was to try explain who was the persons and why they figured in this church in Recife, some of them are unknown. Throughout the research, other sculptures and painting examples and particulary one source literary helped in our identification.
