Abstract

In June 2018, the Museum of Sacred Art of São Paulo, thought about the digital documentation of some works of the collection, and in the same direction, to produce the works printed in 3D technology, generating physical replicas, inexpository pedagogical project, with tactile language of accessibility and inclusion for visually impaired people. Thisarticle describes the work carried out in the museum premises, thinking surface preservation solutions in the structured light scanning phase, with identical volumetric approximation, recreating this imaginary in three-dimensional ABS, artistically characterizing the supports originally used by the artists through diverse masses, paints and varnishes in the elaboration of the surfaces, with subsequent finishing protection, producing: solutions for the preservation of museum collections; digital volumetric documentation; exhibition representativeness with low cost mobility and accessibility. The MAS ITINERANTE PROJECT has generated technical training for Conservation and Restoration students throughout its development.
